Highlights of Curriculum

  • Practical Training for STEM Students- International students with backgrounds in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics can extend their program by two years to complete or pursue optional practical training.
  • Bridge Program- It is a preparatory program. It consists of five courses in data science and fundamentals. It introduces and familiarizes fundamental concepts and skills. It consists of one course in programming, one core course in data structure and algorithms, one core course in linear algebra, and probability, and one core course in data science concepts of visualization and statistical analysis.
  • 3+2 BA/MS in Mathematics and Data Science- The university has partnered with Salve Regina University to earn a combined degree in mathematics and data science. The students pursue a mathematics degree from Salve Regina University and a data science degree from Dartmouth College. 
  • Center for Scientific Computing and Visualization Research- is an interdisciplinary center where students and faculty unite through high-performing computers to address mathematical, engineering, physics, biology, chemistry, and oceanography computational issues.
